I tried their Diamond course and thought it was delicious overall. The food was excellent and, while it is a bit on the pricier side, the quality definitely shows. I really enjoyed their wagyu cuts, the wagyu sandwich, and the wagyu fried rice. I also tried some of their nigiri, which wasn’t bad at all. They do offer some specialty rolls, too, but none of the ones listed really caught my interest. I do wish I had the chance to try other rolls or nigiri that weren’t on the ayce menu. I was also craving a taiyaki, and it did not disappoint at all. It was very crispy and a perfect way to end the meal. My server, Janice, was lovely and attentive. There wasn’t much wait time between rounds, which made the experience even better. I had never cooked lobster tail before and was nervous about undercooking it or messing it up, so I asked her for help. Even though she was busy, she cooked it perfectly. I was thoroughly pleased, and it definitely makes me want to come back.

Went here on Friday for dinner. The food was very good. I inhaled the gyoza since they were so light and tasty. The scallops (not pictured) were probably my next favourite. The meats were also of good quality and were complimented well by the dipping sauces. The fried chicken was really good when dipped in its sauce, but not so great on its own. The yakisoba was good in small amounts, but split between two people was way too much because of how salty it is. The restaurant was very clean and service was rather fast and friendly. The overall noise in the restaurant was low enough to talk. I would come back, but it is a bit on the pricier end and I’m not sure if the food justifies that level of pricing.
We came here for dinner. My friend and I came to try the butter miso clams, which were really delicious. The Japanese Wagyu was also very tasty, the atmosphere was great, and it’s definitely worth visiting again.
Thank you to Ian, our wonderful server, who was able to make my 21st birthday with my friends so enjoyable on 7/25! The lychee smash and matcha cha were amazing. The service was impeccable. All of the Wagyu melted in our mouths while the lobster was perfectly seasoned. The rolls were not fishy and had good quality fish. A lot of options for the diamond menu. The food stuffed us so much we had to walk the block before making the hour and a half drive back home. It is worth the drive, the money, and the experience.
The meat at Gyusan BBQ is very fresh, sliced to the perfect thickness, and full of flavor when grilled. The side dishes and sauces offer plenty of variety, making the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the staff are attentive, always helping to change the grill plate. Overall, a fantastic dining experience—highly recommended!

Good quality meat and tons of side and mains that you can order at a large group. Go for the diamond and we feel this is a really good deal. Premium sake is also very reasonably priced.
I've been to many a Korean BBQ, but this was my first Japanese BBQ and it did NOT disappoint. All the ingredients were fresh, the meat tender, and the service was on point. I will definately be coming back!
